I have heard much talk about purchasing parts from
"Junk Shops" or "Surplus Shops" but I am clueless
as to where to look for these type of places to
purchase electronic components.  If someone
could give me a clue as to where I can begin to
find some of these stores it would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks

Michael Barker

P.S. - I live in the Rochester, NY area, so if anyone
knows any in this area, please speak up!

Not to be facetious, but try the Yellow Pages under Surplus, Electronics,
or anything else you can think of.
We've got lots locally:  Gateway (chicago based I think), and of course
FRYS started out that way.

Happy hunting.
