Hi,

Can somneone tell me where I'd find the include file for the PIC 16F877
device? I had the same problem tracking down the one for the 'F84. Where
are these things usually found?

Thanks

Paul

As far as Hi-Tech C Compiler, it is called PIC1687X.H and is found in the
HT-PIC\INCLUDE directory.

Look in the MPLAB installation directory.

Usually - C:\Program Files\mplab\p16f877.inc

Are we talking about MPLAB/MPASM here?  If so all the includes are in the
MPLAB root directory

e.g. c:\program files\mplab\p16f877.inc

Regards

Mike

All the include files are in the MPLAB install directory.  The one you want
is called P16F877.INC.

When I purchased MPLAB, the include files were within that CD ROM. Purhaps
you could go to the Microchip website and download the latest. Suspect so.

Thanks to all who informed me where to get the include file!
It was the MPASM one I was looking for and it was in the MPLAB dir as
everyone said. :-) Now I just need to get familiar with this device and
port my code/circuit design to it :)

Thanks !

I'm not sure if I've understood your question, but if you mean where is
"16F877.inc" file it should be in the main directory where you installed
MPLAB (x:\xxx\MPLAB)...

I hope it help, sorry if not...
