I am looking for a reliable source for the 486 CPU.
Can anyone direct me to a distributor or manufacture.
The 2 distributors that I have been using have dried up.  I can buy the
parts from Marshals, but the price is more than double to what I was paying.

PART SPECIFICATIONS
486 PGA (pin grid array)
Manufacture any
75Mhz +

Thanks

Take care  -Jim

You might try STMicroelectronics; last I knew they were
even still making 5V 66MHz DX2s. I believe that they
use the old Cyrix IP, both the original Cyrix 486 core
and the M1sc. I think that Future/FAI carries them.

AMD still makes the 133MHz 5x86, but I think that
you gotta have a long-term contract to get them.

I seem to be able to get them retail around here, still, pretty
easily, I'll ask around (I'd love to have a dozen more 5x86-133's, how
many & how often are you looking at, Jim?)  Definitely findable used
here easily, if you just want a few and used's OK, also.
