'SMT Mounting information'
William K. Borsum
In the continuing search for good parts, I ran across a document on the
HITACHI semiconductor web page called a SMT Users Manual. Downloaded it
without noting the exact URL, and finally got around to looking into it.
It has everything you ever wanted to know about SMT. Process, procedures,
Pad sizes for various packages, and more. 144 pages printed out.
Well worth getting and printing for those of you into SMT design.

Hi, I had a crawl around Hitachi's web site ( http://www.hitachi.com/search )and
found a packaging document (xpxtd002d1) that gives all the details Kelly
referred to- it is a mere (?!) 6.4 megabytes, but all the info on ic
packages you could ever want to know.
Ok - even more confusion nw - I did a cut and paste into their search engine
window of the title "xpxtd002d1" with and without the "pdf" extension in all
three categories allowable in the search and came up with nothing. How do
you guys find this stuff?
Thanks - Keith Causey
