Hello everybody,
I am looking for a very simple serial programmer for PIC16C84 (eg.
circuit layout, source codes for programs, etc.).
Can anybody help me?
I already have the hex file and source code for programming the PIC but
I can't seem to find a programmer simple enough.

Here are some simple programmers.
They are in PDF format so you'll need the Acrobat reader.
Have Fun :-))

I've got a fair bit of software that I'll check out.

Get back to you soon.

Note one little "gotcha" in these designs. If you use the "LS"
versions of the 7405 (or 7406, 7407), you must use the T-I part as other
brands are specified at only 5V instead of 30V and the clamp diodes will
do things you really don't want!
The 15V 74xx16 or 74xx17 will also work fine, but must be T-I if it is
LS. I don't think they make an HC version.

Sorry , can't send the program to this NG since it is larger than
what can be posted.
Leave me your E-mail address and I'll send it.
